What is the DELF? The Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française is the official French Ministry of Education certification for non-native speakers. A1 is the entry level (CEFR scale). It's accepted worldwide for university applications, immigration, jobs. It's valid for life — once you have it, it never expires.
