📝 Tips for success:
- Read the questions before listening to the audio.
- For listening, the audio plays twice.
- For speaking, do the role-play with a partner.
- For writing, watch your agreements, conjugation (passé composé, imparfait, future), and punctuation.
- Don't forget: greetings, polite forms, sign-off!
What is the DELF? The Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française is the official French Ministry of Education certification for non-native speakers. A1 is the entry level (CEFR scale). It's accepted worldwide for university applications, immigration, jobs. It's valid for life — once you have it, it never expires.

You're on holiday in the countryside, at Club Utopia. You go to reception to ask about the activities on offer. But there's always a problem: it's no longer offered, it costs extra, it's no good, etc. Act out the scene with a partner (one client / one staff).

Scoring
How DELF A1 is graded📚 DELF A1 registration:
- The official exam is taken at an exam centre (Alliance française, Institut français, some schools and universities).
- Sessions several times a year (March, June, November…).
- Cost: ~€70 in France, varies abroad (typically £80-120 in the UK, $120-180 in the US).
- The diploma is valid for life!
